Anna and Jordan’s Winter Wedding at Creighton

Anna & Jordan, how they met: A co-worker turned close friend invited Anna to join her and a group of her friends one Wednesday night after work in Chicago. One of those friends was Jordan, in town from Detroit for work. They spent the whole evening talking about anything and everything, from Anna’s fear of windmills to places they hoped to travel one day. By the end of the night, Anna even felt comfortable enough with Jordan to admit her obsession with the band One Direction. This is a good sign, she thought – until he didn’t ask for her number. Thankfully, he realized his mistake quickly and acquired her number through his friend. Their conversation continued via paragraph-long text conversations and an official first date when Jordan was back in town the following week. The rest is history!

Anna and Jordan’s wedding was on a chilly February day in Anna’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. You could feel the warmth brought by family and friends who joined them. It was cozy, romantic, fun, relaxed and elegant. We started off photographing them getting ready at Hilton Omaha, downtown, their ceremony was at St. John’s Catholic Church on Creighton Campus, and the reception was at The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill.
